You Can Do It!

It only takes 3 hours of moderate exercise or 2 hours of vigorous exercise a week to stay healthy (World Health Organization [WHO], 2022). This can include anything from jogging, swimming, biking, even just walking your dog. Getting others involved is a great way to exercise and socialize! Go on a walk with a friend for 30 minutes or plan a hike. Put on your favorite playlist and go for a jog. Break up your exercise time so it doesn't feel overwhelming. Any small amount per day counts!

Exercise With Others!

Get a group together and play a game of soccer or take a spin class! It's been shown that working out in groups can decrease levels of anxiety and depression, especially within adolescents (Jetten et al., 2022). Getting in essential exercise doesn't have to be boring. Invite your friends and family to get involved and make exercise fun!
